The Lower Mainland TimeBank, offers membership to anyone living between Vancouver and Langley and was restarted in 2012 with three main goals:

Where neighbours help neighbours and strangers become friends. Trading time and talents to rebuild the core economy of family, neighbourhood and community. You have joined the thousands of others across the world who have become part of the international TimeBank movement. A movement that values all human beings as equals, honours human decency, kindness, compassion and encourages love and sharing. It's about TIME!

The Lower Mainland TimeBank is new and needing members, volunteers and meeting venues. Help spread the word about TimeBanking to your email list, friends and family. If you would like to be a local coordinator, let us know. If you know of a free or really cheap place to hold information meetings in your neighbourhood, let us know!

The Lower Mainland TimeBank provides a connection process for relationship building and creating a vibrant community by bringing community members into co-productive, caring relationship with each other. Helping others while helping yourself. Post, post, post your OFFERS and your REQUESTS! Feel comfortable seeking a member to provide a service to you because they WANT to give. Discover your forgotten talents and gifts and OFFER them to the members...people will be glad you did! Have FUN and enjoy the process!
